Head of Pre Construction/Estimating
We are excited to be recruiting a Head of Pre Construction/Estimating role based in London for a market leading group of construction companies.
The organisation has an enviable list of brand names amongst its client-base and the Head of Pre Construction/Estimating will join a team dedicated to delivering high-quality refurbishments in the banking sector. The projects will be a mix of retail sites and regional / head offices. He or she will have strong experience in retail Fit Out (ideally banking).
This opportunity has arisen, due to the continued success and growth of the business and it is an exciting time to be joining the organisation, particularly in this team.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead an estimating team focused on securing best value.
- Retail and banking experience highly beneficial, particularly Barclays.
- Drive value through cost planning, supply chain tendering, labour and material analysis, and alternative solutions.
- Ensure project P&L forecasts and margin assumptions are supported by robust cost build-ups and procurement plans.
- Deliver a robust handover to the commercial team at the client sign-off gateway.
- Lead new client tendering and provide strong commercial analysis.
