About AnywhereNow
AnywhereNow is a Microsoft Teams-native Contact Centre as a Service (CCaaS) provider, backed by Bregal private equity. We enable enterprises to deliver customer engagement directly within the Microsoft ecosystem, spanning our omnichannel contact centre platforms (Dialogue Cloud and Dialogue Cloud Neo), our native attendant console and contact centre solution (Tendfor), and our AI-powered agent assist capability (Deepdesk). We sell globally through a partner-led model alongside direct enterprise engagement, competing against the likes of Genesys, NICE, Five9, and Luware.
The Role
The Head of Pre-Sales owns the global solutions consulting function and is accountable for the technical quality, credibility, and velocity of every deal in the pipeline. This is a player-coach leadership role: you will lead and develop a distributed team of pre-sales consultants while personally engaging on strategic and complex opportunities, partner enablement, and executive-level technical evangelism.
You will be a core member of the commercial leadership team, working directly with the CSO, regional sales leaders, product management, and engineering to translate customer and partner needs into winning solutions and to feed structured field intelligence back into the product roadmap, particularly across AI and agent-assist capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and scale the global pre-sales team, setting standards for discovery, demonstrations, proof-of-concept execution, and RFP/RFI responses across all regions.
- Own technical win strategy on strategic opportunities across the full portfolio (Dialogue Cloud, Neo, Tendfor, Deepdesk), including personal engagement on lighthouse and competitive deals.
- Build and maintain world-class demonstration environments, demo narratives, and value-based presentation assets aligned to enterprise buyer personas.
- Drive partner technical enablement: certification pathways, demo capability, and solution architecture support for channel partners, distributors, and technology services distributors (TSDs).
- Embed rigour into the sales process, ensuring technical qualification aligns to MEDDPICC methodology and CRM stage-gate criteria, and that technical risk is surfaced early and honestly in forecast reviews.
- Develop competitive differentiation in the field, equipping the team to win against Genesys, NICE, Five9, Luware, and Microsoft-native alternatives, with particular focus on Teams-native architecture and AI-driven agent assist.
- Act as the voice of the field to Product, providing structured feedback on roadmap priorities, gaps, and win/loss drivers, including AI, recording, and integration capabilities.
- Support Microsoft ecosystem alignment, including co-sell readiness, marketplace positioning, and joint solution plays with Microsoft field teams.
- Own pre-sales operational metrics: technical win rate, PoC conversion, cycle-time contribution, demo-to-close ratios, and team utilisation.
- Recruit and develop talent, building a bench of solutions consultants capable of supporting growth across Europe, North America, and beyond.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)
- A high-performing, well-led pre-sales team with clear coverage across regions and products, and measurably improved technical win rates.
- A repeatable, portfolio-wide demonstration and PoC framework that partners and internal sellers can execute consistently.
- Partner technical enablement programme launched, with priority partners certified and self-sufficient on demos for Tendfor and Neo.
- Technical qualification embedded in forecast discipline, with pre-sales input trusted as a leading indicator of deal health.
- A credible, differentiated AI/agent-assist story in the field, co-developed with Product, that wins against larger competitors.
Experience & Skills
- 10+ years in pre-sales/solutions consulting within CCaaS, UCaaS, CX, or enterprise SaaS, with 5+ years leading pre-sales teams, ideally internationally.
- Deep domain knowledge of contact centre technology: omnichannel routing, workforce engagement, quality management, CRM integrations, and conversational/agentic AI.
- Strong understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem, Teams, Azure, Dynamics, and Microsoft co-sell motions, is a significant advantage.
- Proven success in partner-led go-to-market models, enabling channel partners and system integrators to sell and demonstrate independently.
- Experience competing against major CCaaS vendors (e.g. Genesys, NICE, Five9) and articulating differentiation to both technical and executive audiences.
- Fluency in structured sales methodologies (MEDDPICC or equivalent) and comfort operating within a metrics-driven, PE-backed environment.
- Exceptional communication and executive presence: equally credible whiteboarding architecture with engineers and presenting to C-level buyers.
- Willingness to travel regularly across Europe and periodically to North America.
