Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The Head of Private Clients will work closely with Meridian & Co.'s operations support and global partner network to coordinate client requirements, source suitable charter solutions, negotiate commercial terms, and ensure a seamless experience from initial enquiry through to completion.

As a key early-stage member of the company, the successful candidate will also contribute to the development of Meridian & Co.'s commercial strategy, private client processes, partnerships, and future Private Client division.

Importantly, the Head of Private Clients will also become a key public-facing representative of Meridian & Co. The role will involve working alongside the company's professional media team to represent the brand through selected digital content, industry events, partner visits, aircraft and yacht features, and other brand opportunities.

Previous media or content creation experience is not required, but the successful candidate should be confident, articulate, professionally presented, and comfortable representing a luxury brand publicly.

The position is open to suitable candidates across the UK and Europe. International travel may be required for client meetings, industry events, partner engagements, and professional content production.

Qualifications

  • Strong Business Relationship Management skills, with the ability to develop trusted, long-term relationships with HNW/UHNW clients, introducers, partners, and other luxury-sector professionals.
  • Demonstrated Sales and Business Development ability, including prospecting, developing commercial opportunities, managing a pipeline, and converting high-value enquiries.
  • Experience within private aviation, yacht charter, luxury travel, concierge, luxury hospitality, private members' clubs, or another HNW/UHNW client environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong commercial awareness, including an understanding of pricing, negotiation, margins, client acquisition, and revenue generation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to communicate professionally with private clients, suppliers, partners, and stakeholders across different cultures and markets.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with a discreet and highly personalised approach to client service.
  • Confidence representing Meridian & Co. publicly, including appearing in professionally produced digital and social media content and attending relevant industry events.
  • A polished, professional manner appropriate for an international luxury and private-client environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and an interest in helping build and develop a growing company rather than simply operating within an established corporate structure.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage priorities effectively, and handle confidential client information with absolute discretion.
  • Comfortable travelling internationally when required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field is beneficial but not essential where equivalent professional experience can be demonstrated.
