Role Description
The Head of Procurement will lead the end-to-end procurement function, setting strategy and overseeing purchasing activities to support REM Associates’ clients and internal operations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining procurement policies, managing supplier selection and onboarding, and negotiating contracts to secure favorable commercial terms. The role involves evaluating supplier performance, ensuring compliance with company standards, and driving continuous improvement in cost, quality, and service. The Head of Procurement will collaborate closely with operations, finance, and commercial teams to align procurement plans with business objectives, mitigate risk, and support growth across logistics and e-fulfilment projects.

- Strong procurement and purchasing skills, with proven experience overseeing end-to-end Procurement and Purchasing processes.
- Demonstrated expertise in Supplier Management and Supplier Evaluation, including supplier selection, performance monitoring, and relationship development.
- Advanced Contract Negotiation skills, with a track record of securing cost-effective and commercially sound agreements.
- Experience leading procurement in logistics, supply chain, or 3PL environments, ideally within blue-chip or high-growth organizations.
- Ability to develop procurement strategies, manage budgets, and deliver measurable savings without compromising service quality.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities, including proficiency with procurement and ERP systems.
- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, procurement, or a related field; professional procurement certifications (e.g., CIPS or equivalent) are an advantage.
