About the Role
Sitecore is looking for an experienced Head of Procurement to lead our global procurement function and shape how we manage third-party spend across the business. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving commercial value, strengthening governance, reducing operational risk, and creating a procurement experience that enables the business to move quickly without compromising control.

You will partner closely with leaders across Finance, Legal, Security, IT, People, and business functions to develop procurement strategies, optimize supplier relationships, and ensure every purchasing decision delivers measurable value. You'll also lead and develop a high-performing procurement team while continuously improving processes, policies, and systems that support a fast-growing global SaaS organization.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and develop the global Procurement team, fostering a high-performing, collaborative, and customer-focused function.
- Define and execute Sitecore's procurement strategy, operating model, and governance framework to support business growth and scalability.
- Drive strategic sourcing and lead complex commercial negotiations to deliver measurable cost savings, commercial value, and favorable supplier agreements.
- Own company-wide spend governance by implementing procurement policies, approval frameworks, and data-driven insights to optimize spend and supplier performance.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, Security, IT, and business leaders to balance speed, commercial outcomes, and risk across procurement activities.
- Continuously improve procurement processes, supplier management, and technology to increase efficiency, enhance the stakeholder experience, and support executive reporting.

What You Need to Succeed
- 10+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or commercial operations, including leadership of high-performing teams in a global technology or SaaS environment.
- Proven success negotiating complex, high-value commercial agreements and delivering measurable business value through strategic sourcing.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience implementing procurement governance, spend management, supplier management, and approval frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted partnerships across Finance, Legal, IT, Security, and business leadership.
- Highly analytical, with strong financial, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills, combined with excellent project management capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
