📢 We're Hiring | Head of Procurement & Purchasing Operations
Are you a strategic procurement leader who enjoys driving commercial value, building strong supplier partnerships and leading high-performing teams?
We're looking for a Head of Procurement & Purchasing Operations to join Maintel in a pivotal leadership role, reporting directly to our CFO.
This is an opportunity to shape and lead our procurement strategy, helping us diversify our supplier base, strengthen commercial relationships and deliver sustainable cost savings, while ensuring our purchasing operations continue to support an exceptional customer experience.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Developing and delivering our procurement strategy
- Leading and developing a high-performing Procurement & Supplier Management team
- Negotiating commercial agreements that maximise value and protect margin
- Building strong, long-term relationships with suppliers and distributors
- Driving procurement optimisation and continuous improvement programmes
- Ensuring efficient purchasing operations and supplier payment processes
- Collaborating across Finance, Operations and the wider business to support strategic objectives

- A proven track record of developing procurement strategies and delivering measurable commercial results
- Strong experience negotiating with suppliers and achieving significant cost savings
- Experience leading and developing successful procurement or purchasing teams
- Excellent commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills
- A passion for continuous improvement and delivering operational excellence
