About the Role

I'm partnering with a Global FinTech on a newly shaped leadership role that will define how the business buys, governs and maximises value from its third parties across the UK and Europe. Reporting to the CFO, this is a genuine build and modernise opportunity. The business wants someone to put in place a scalable operating model, bring more structure and automation to how procurement works, and position the function as a trusted commercial partner to the leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Shaping and delivering the procurement strategy, including policy, governance and the target operating model.
  • Leading strategic sourcing and category plans, running tenders and negotiating high-value, complex contracts with a focus on whole-life value.
  • Owning the outsourcing and third-party risk framework, from due diligence and onboarding through to ongoing assurance, renewal and exit.
  • Overseeing managed service providers and driving performance through clear SLAs, KPIs and regular governance.
  • Making sure critical suppliers are aligned with operational resilience requirements, including continuity and exit planning.
  • Working alongside Finance to identify savings, consolidate the supplier base and give leadership better visibility of spend.
  • Reporting into senior committees and the Board, and partnering closely with Risk, Legal, InfoSec and Technology.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
