The Opportunity
Our client is a leading UK live entertainment business operating a portfolio of iconic venues across the country. They are seeking an experienced Head of Procurement to lead and evolve their procurement function, delivering a commercially focused procurement strategy across a complex, multi-site operation.
Reporting to the Group Operations Director, you'll be responsible for driving cost efficiencies, strengthening supplier partnerships and ensuring robust governance across all third-party spend. The role has a strong emphasis on Food & Beverage procurement, while also overseeing a broader Goods & Services Not for Resale (GNFR) portfolio.
Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, you'll play a key role in supporting operational excellence, commercial performance and exceptional customer experiences.
The Role
As Head of Procurement, you'll provide strategic leadership across procurement activities, ensuring best practice, commercial value and supplier performance across multiple spend categories.
Food & Beverage will be your primary focus, managing everything from supplier sourcing and category strategy to commercial negotiations and margin optimisation across a large, multi-site estate. You'll also oversee procurement across areas including Corporate Services, Facilities Management, Property and wider GNFR spend.

Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing a group-wide procurement strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Leading and developing the procurement function, embedding best practice and continuous improvement.
- Building category strategies and delivering strategic sourcing initiatives across multiple spend areas.
- Managing supplier sourcing, tender processes, commercial negotiations and contract lifecycle management.
- Delivering annual cost-saving and value creation targets through effective procurement strategies.
- Building long-term supplier partnerships and implementing supplier performance frameworks.
- Ensuring procurement governance, compliance and effective risk management.
- Driving improvements in procurement systems, reporting and spend analytics.
- Partnering with senior stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Property, Facilities and Hospitality to provide commercial procurement expertise.
About You
You'll be an experienced procurement leader with strong commercial acumen, excellent stakeholder management skills and a proven ability to deliver measurable business value.

We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Significant experience in strategic procurement and category management.
- A strong track record of delivering commercial savings and procurement transformation.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management expertise.
- Experience managing procurement across multiple spend categories within a complex organisation.
- Strong supplier relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience leading teams, projects and business change initiatives.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make commercially sound decisions.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Experience
Candidates will ideally come from hospitality, food & beverage, restaurants, retail, leisure or other customer-facing multi-site organisations. Experience leading Food & Beverage procurement within a large operational business will be highly advantageous, although broader strategic procurement experience across complex, multi-site environments will also be considered.
