About The Role

We’re looking for a Head of Procurement to lead procurement and supply chain strategy for our growing Regional Buildings business across England and Wales. As a key member of both the Regional Buildings Senior Leadership Team and the UK Procurement Leadership Team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping business performance, supporting growth ambitions and ensuring our projects have access to the capability, capacity and partnerships needed to succeed.

This is a highly strategic leadership position where you'll work across a diverse portfolio of complex construction programmes, including major Defence opportunities and other priority sectors. You’ll bring market insight, supply chain expertise and commercial leadership to business-critical decisions, helping to drive resilience, value and competitive advantage across the organisation.

The role location is UK flexible with regular travel.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead the procurement and supply chain strategy for Regional Buildings, aligning delivery with business objectives, growth plans and customer requirements.
  • Shape business-wide decision-making as a senior leader, providing commercial and supply chain expertise to complex operational challenges.
  • Oversee programme and portfolio demand planning, ensuring supply chain capability and capacity support current and future workloads.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with strategic suppliers, customers and key industry partners.
  • Support major bids and pre-construction activity, developing supply chain solutions that strengthen winning strategies and project delivery.
  • Drive procurement governance, risk management and compliance while partnering with commercial teams to maintain effective controls.
  • Lead category management strategies that secure critical resources, optimise value and enhance business competitiveness.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, market pressures and capacity challenges to ensure continuity and resilience.
  • Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing procurement team, building capability, succession plans and consistent ways of working across multiple locations.
  • Champion UK-wide procurement initiatives and lead the Manufactured Systems category, driving best practice, value creation and supply chain assurance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
