The Role
We're looking for an experienced Head of Product to own the evolution of our product. You'll work closely with customers, the client team and engineering to understand customer problems, shape product strategy and deliver features that create measurable value. Reporting to the CEO, you'll own the roadmap, drive product discovery and ensure we're building the right things for our customers.
As the business grows, you'll play a key role in developing how product is managed across the company.
What You'll Do
- Own the product roadmap and prioritise work that delivers the greatest customer and commercial value.
- Lead customer discovery through interviews, research and product analytics.
- Translate customer problems into clear product requirements and user stories.
- Work closely with engineering and design to deliver high-quality product improvements.
- Launch new features and measure adoption, usage and customer outcomes.
- Balance new product development with technical improvements and platform investment.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success and Operations to ensure customer feedback drives product decisions.
- Use data, insight and commercial judgement to make prioritisation decisions and track outcomes.
- Continuously improve the product development process within a fast-moving startup.

Key Requirements
Essential
- Significant experience as a Product Manager or Senior Product Manager in a B2B SaaS business.
- Experience in early stage start-up or scale up.
- Experience owning a product roadmap from discovery through to delivery.
- Experience in customer discovery iterating an existing product and bringing new features.
- A track record of launching successful features that solved real customer problems.
- Strong customer discovery skills and a passion for understanding how customers work.
- Experience working closely with software engineers in agile development teams.
- Excellent prioritisation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and an outcome-focused approach to product management.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment where priorities evolve quickly.

Nice to have
- Experience in AI, workflow automation, fintech or wealth technology.
- Experience leading complex product initiatives involving platform modernisation, re-platforming or technical refactoring.
- Experience scaling product processes within a growing SaaS company.
- Experience with product analytics tools.

- Established a clear, prioritised roadmap.
- Embedded a consistent product discovery and prioritisation process.
Within 12 months
- Delivered impactful product improvements with measurable customer adoption.
- Increased confidence in roadmap decisions through customer insight and product data.
- Helped mature PlannerPal's product capability as the business continues to scale.
