Role: Events - Head of Product
Hybrid working: 3 days a week in the London office - possible international travel several times a year
Role Summary
Reporting to the Managing or Event Director, and working on flagship events, you have the more than 6 years’ experience in curating market-leading events of significant scale. You undertake deep research, curate content narratives, programme development, speaker recruitment, feature innovation, and shape the event product proposition.
You will work alongside a project team of producers and coordinators, and work cross-functionally with content, marketing, operations, and sales teams.
This is a key role for a hands-on, experienced, events expert who can deliver excellent event products.
Key Responsibilities
Event Production
- Oversee delivery of content for flagship events [multiple tracks, add-ons, features]
- Supports delivery of high-level leadership summits within events
- Conduct extensive research, analyse data, competitive landscapes, addressable market, identifying trends and opportunities for the next iteration of the event.
- Translate strategic objectives from senior management into the event product.
- Curate new features collaborating closely Managing Directors and Event Directors.
- Ensure product delivery aligns with market trends
- Secure a significant number of speakers for your event/s
Market Intelligence & Stakeholder Engagement
- Conduct ongoing market analysis to track industry trends, competitor positioning, and audience needs with a 12-month lens.
- Management of an advisory board to provide feedback on event value proposition
- Cultivate a community of trusted sources among the leaders of the industry in your regions.
- Create segmented engagement strategies and adapt content to cross-channel campaigns.
- Originate and curate high quality content to fuel marketing campaigns.
- Represent techoraco externally at industry events, partner meetings, and client sessions as a thought leader.

Commercial Input
- Consults with commercial and marketing teams on sales matrix, floorplans, signage, and customer experience
- Track performance metrics (delegate mix, NPS, retention, sponsorship yield) and implement plans for continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.
- Project manage your events and inspire and influence your project team to work towards the same targets, objectives and milestones
- Work closely with ED and BDDs to review sales pipelines and build event product inventory to support commercial goals.
- Identify potential new, commercially viable, product features to target new audiences.
- Use research to shape new features, formats, and experiences (e.g., summits, councils, matchmaking initiatives, or innovation showcases etc.).
- Support any forecasting, reporting, and portfolio reviews with the portfolio Managing Director.
Product Development & Innovation
- Recruit significant number of speakers for event.
- Conduct deep industry research to curate event programme.
- Take ownership of new event tracks.
- Deliver a rigorous event go-no-go.
- Provide sales and marketing teams with marketing intelligence, ICPs, and growth audience insight.
- Provide marketing copy and audience insights to marketing team.
- Produce content assets e.g. whitepapers, webinars.
- Identify and pilot new product features — such as advisory councils, awards, innovation showcases
- Champion the customer experience, ensuring every event is insight-led, differentiated, and commercially viable.
- Support post-event reviews and feedback loops to drive iterative product improvement.

Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Providing mentoring, development, and performance feedback to junior producers.
- Support a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, creativity, and commercial accountability.
- Work closely with Content, Marketing, Operations, and Sales teams to ensure end-to-end delivery excellence.
Attributes
- 6+ years’ experience in B2B events, media, or community-led businesses, including 3+ years in a product or portfolio leadership role.
- Proven ability to grow event brands commercially and strategically.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence at senior industry level.
- Interest in management and mentoring of junior members of team
- Entrepreneurial mindset — curious, creative, and outcome-focused.
- Commercial acumen
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate insight into actionable plans.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with global stakeholders.
- Outstanding communicator both verbally and in writing
- Deadline and target-driven
- A proactive and hard-working individual – capable of delivering a high volume of content and willing to run the extra mile when required
