Head of Product – Edinburgh

Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid)
Salary: £110,000 - £120,000 + Bonus / Equity

About Our Client

Our client is a rapidly scaling technology company with an established digital product and ambitious plans for UK and international growth. Following continued investment, they are looking for a Head of Product to lead product strategy and develop a growing team of Product Managers.

The Role

Reporting into the executive leadership team, you will own the overall product strategy and ensure it is aligned with customer needs and commercial objectives. You will lead the product function, establish effective product operating practices and work closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Sales and Customer Success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and communicate the company's overall product strategy and roadmap.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Product Managers and Product Owners.
  • Partner with Engineering leadership on technology and delivery priorities.
  • Establish strong discovery, prioritisation and product planning practices.
  • Use customer insight, market intelligence and data to guide investment decisions.
  • Work with Sales and Customer Success to understand customer and market requirements.
  • Define product KPIs and improve measurement of product outcomes.
  • Present product strategy and performance to executive and board-level stakeholders.
  • Support recruitment and scaling of the wider product organisation.

Skills & Experience

  • Significant product leadership experience within a technology or software organisation.
  • Previous experience as a Head of Product, Product Director, Lead Product Manager or similar.
  • Strong record of building and scaling successful digital products.
  • Experience managing and developing Product Managers.
  • Excellent commercial, strategic and analytical capability.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering, UX and data-driven product development.
  • Experience within SaaS, fintech, marketplaces or high-growth technology is advantageous.
