Group Head of Product
London or Leeds | SaaS | B2B, B2C & B2B2C
Jefferson Locke is partnering with a highly successful, growing UK SaaS business to appoint a Group Head of Product, taking overall leadership of product strategy, delivery, and performance across a significant portfolio of B2B and consumer-facing products.
This is much more than managing an established roadmap.
The business has built a strong market position through technology, innovation, and sustained growth. It now has the scale, customer base, and breadth of products to enter an important next phase of its development.
The opportunity is to connect, evolve, and accelerate that portfolio.
The Opportunity
Sitting at the top of the Product function for these areas, you'll lead two Heads of Product and their respective teams, with responsibility for a portfolio spanning:
- New customer acquisition and commercial engagement
- Digital onboarding and workflow
- Compliance, verification, and risk
- Consumer-facing digital experiences
- Data-led products and services
- The growing application of AI across products and customer journeys
Individually, these are substantial product areas. Collectively, they create the opportunity to build an increasingly connected digital ecosystem serving businesses, professional users, and end consumers.
A major part of your mandate will be determining how those products should work together, where the business should invest, and how technology, data, and AI can create better experiences and greater commercial value.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What You'll Lead
You'll own the overall product strategy and roadmap, ensuring priorities remain closely connected to customer needs and the wider commercial direction of the business.
Working closely with Engineering and Design, you'll provide leadership across multiple Product teams while balancing longer-term platform strategy with effective delivery.
You'll also help shape how the business approaches AI.
We're not interested in AI for AI's sake. We're looking for someone who understands the emerging landscape and can identify where it can genuinely improve customer experience, remove friction, and create meaningful efficiency.
Who We're Looking For
We're deliberately keeping the sector open. You do not need experience within the client's specific industry.
We're more interested in accomplished Product leaders from sophisticated SaaS, software, platform, or technology businesses who can bring fresh thinking and relevant experience.
You'll likely be operating at Head of Product, Group Head of Product, Product Director, or VP Product level, with experience leading multiple teams rather than simply owning an individual product.
You'll ideally bring:
- Significant senior Product leadership experience within SaaS, software, or technology
- Experience leading multi-team Product organisations
- Strong exposure to B2B and B2C products, ideally including B2B2C
- Experience creating product strategy and translating it into executable roadmaps
- Strong technical understanding and credibility with Engineering and Design
- Experience of complex or multi-product platforms
- Commercial judgement and a strong customer/outcome focus
- Experience with data-led products
- A practical understanding of AI and its application within digital products
- Strong stakeholder management and the confidence to make clear decisions

Your very own career expert that helps elevate your application to the next level.
Crucially, you'll be comfortable moving between strategy and execution: capable of thinking about where the portfolio should be in three years while remaining close enough to customers, teams, and products to understand what needs to happen today.
Why This Role?
This isn't a Product leadership role where the challenge is simply to keep the machine running.
The foundations are already strong. The opportunity is to help determine what comes next.
How does a successful portfolio become a genuinely connected platform? Where should investment be concentrated? How should AI and data reshape the customer experience? And how do you build a Product organisation capable of supporting the next stage of growth?
For the right Product leader, this offers real ownership, influence, and visible impact inside an ambitious and established technology business.
