Head of Product — Agentic Access, Entitlements & Reference Data

We're seeking an experienced product leader to join as Head of Product — Agentic Access, Entitlements & Reference Data, accountable for a single reusable set of entitlement and information-security components applied consistently everywhere data or insight is surfaced and for setting what the reference and product definitions those components act on must carry for entitlement and eligibility to be applied.

Domain leads own the definitions of their own products, and this role does not displace that. It adds accountability for specifying what those definitions must carry for entitlement and eligibility to be applied to them, so an entitlement decision is made the same way wherever it is asked. You will also be accountable for the outcomes linked to the wealth transformation pillar overseeing wealth products & platform.

This role directly supports the delivery of the Wealth Transformation Programme, our multi-year agenda to reimagine wealth for tomorrow by establishing proactive digital assistance leveraging the latest agentic capabilities, liberating our frontline from legacy complexity so they can effortlessly help clients achieve their wealth goals. The commercial ambition behind it is significant: growing wealth balances 38% to $2.2trn by 2030, fee income at an 11% CAGR to $15bn, net new money at a 9% CAGR, and lifting Premier Wealth penetration by 11 percentage points to 45%. The programme is organised as six pillars, spanning segmentation and proposition, brand and marketing, RM commercialisation, seamless client journeys, wealth products and platform, and data and AI.

Outcomes this role carries

  • The full product shelf available by way of agentic enablement to both relationship managers and clients, on one aligned view of what may be sold, where, and to whom
  • Tailored recommendations that are eligible and suitable by construction
  • Agentic advice and execution able to act on a client's behalf within a permission model that can be evidenced and audited
  • Curated wealth insights delivered to clients across channels, tailored to the product and the person receiving them
  • Client and colleague information shared only with those entitled to see it, consistently across every channel, market and agent
  • Auditability and traceability across who saw what, who acted on what, and under whose authority
  • Every component instrumented, so adoption is measured rather than assumed and each release is shaped by how the last one was actually used

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you'll do

  • Deliver information security for agents and AI
  • Hold the vision, roadmap, prioritisation and acceptance for entitlement components that decide what information or insight a given user may see or act on
  • Require this service to be readily reusable to prevent each product or channel requiring duplicate access logic where appropriate
  • Set the permission model across internal user, client and agent, including the delegated authority, revocation and audit
  • Define cross-border rules and who may receive which insight in which market, working with the technology leads who implement them
  • Define the management view of entitlements so reporting is safe by construction
  • Own the backlog for the entitlement and reference data services and sequence it into increments that deliver usable capability at each release
  • Apply entitlements and eligibility to reference and product data
  • Specify what entitlement and eligibility require from reference and product data
  • Express eligibility and suitability as data rather than process, so a recommendation engine can read them directly
  • Consume one aligned set of reference and product definitions rather than maintaining a separate set, working with the business data accountability that owns them
  • Ensure the same entitlement decision is reached wherever it is asked, across the direct and relationship-managed client experience
  • Partner with compliance and risk stewards as the standing route for turning the policy they own into rules the entitlement services can apply
  • Drive discovery, adoption and lifecycle
  • Run discovery with the domains, markets and consuming teams that depend on entitlement and reference services, so what is built answers a real access question
  • Be accountable for adoption and reuse, measured by how many products, channels and agents call the service instead of building their own access logic
  • Instrument the entitlement and reference services so usage can be measured: which consumers call them, how often, and where access logic is still being built locally
  • Confirm conformance when a consumer integrates, and stay accountable for reuse by the next one

Experience

  • Proven experience owning entitlements, access control or permissions systems in a financial services or similarly regulated environment
  • Experience expressing eligibility, suitability or compliance rules as machine-readable data rather than manual process
  • Track record of setting data requirements on definitions or standards held by multiple domain owners
  • Familiarity with delegated authority, audit and revocation models for both human and AI/agent-initiated actions
  • Experience setting a roadmap and acceptance criteria for services built by technology teams and consumed by multiple products or channels
  • Track record of driving adoption of a shared capability, measured by reuse rather than delivery milestones
  • Experience leveraging adoption and behavioural data to inform feature enhancements, backlog prioritisation and improvements to user experience
  • Stakeholder management experience across risk, compliance and second-line-of-defence functions

Knowledge and capabilities

  • Strong understanding of entitlement, authorisation and information-security architecture, including for AI and agent-initiated access
  • Working knowledge of suitability, eligibility and cross-border regulatory constraints in wealth management
  • Able to translate policy set by second line of defence into data structures an engine can read, without creating or interpreting risk appetite
  • Clear grasp of the distinction between ownership of a product definition (domain leads) and the entitlement and eligibility requirements placed on it (this role)
  • Clear communicator across risk, compliance, engineering and business audiences
  • Practical, pragmatic decision-making under regulatory constraint
  • Comfortable withdrawing or reworking capability that adoption data shows is not being used
