What you’ll be doing
- Own product safety and market access across all markets we operate in.
- Set the global strategy and standards for product and packaging compliance.
- Lead chemical compliance across areas including REACH, PFAS, POPs, Proposition 65 and our Restricted Substances List.
- Oversee product testing, certification, Declarations of Conformity and market-specific labelling requirements.
- Lead our approach to ESPR and Digital Product Passports, ensuring we are ready for emerging regulatory requirements.
- Own the response to product incidents, recalls and engagement with regulators.
- Bring product and packaging compliance together under one consistent approach, leading the Product Compliance Manager and Packaging Compliance Manager.
- Partner with our brands and senior stakeholders to identify risk early and ensure compliance is built into the product journey.
- Lead the Product Regulatory Compliance Committee, manage external consultants and shape our compliance technology roadmap.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
