Join the 2nd Fastest Growing Business in the UK

Lucky Egg makes party games that spread on social media and sell in the millions. Grab The Mic, Sorry What?!, Snort Funny and many more. We're the 2nd fastest growing business in the UK in this year's Sunday Times 100, roughly doubling every year, and building for £100m across the UK, US and Europe from a Soho office of around 32 people.

Why join us?

This is a place where speed and creativity collide. You'll work with a smart, genuinely fun team and build physical products that people love, share and argue over. But beneath the fun is a serious product business with big ambitions, and you'll learn faster here than almost anywhere else. If you want to make the decisions that shape what a company becomes, this role will give you that.

🎯 The Role

We're hiring a Head of Product to own what we make next and why. You'll decide the product strategy: which categories we go into, which we leave alone, what the data says about where hits come from, and which bets get the money. Then you'll lead a team of eight developers and designers to turn those decisions into finished games, on time and at the right price, and build the department to match where we're going.

The team is strong, the pipeline is full and the process works. What this role adds is the person who looks at our own results and the competition, draws the right conclusions, makes the big calls and owns them.

This isn't traditional consumer goods. It's culture-driven, social-media-native, fast-cycle physical product. Toys and games are our core, but we value people who've thrived anywhere decisions had to be made quickly and well.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

🧠 What You'll Do

  • Set the category strategy: where we expand, backed by data on our own hit rate and what's selling in the market
  • Own the portfolio: what gets made, what gets cut, and the commercial case for each
  • Set the agenda for improving our hit rate, from concept selection to launch, and drive it
  • Lead, coach and grow a team of eight great developers and designers, and build the department to take us to £100m
  • Make the commercial calls on pricing, margin, retailer and marketplace fit, and cost
  • Work with sales, marketing, marketplace, sourcing and finance as a peer, and bring them with you

🛠️ Who You Are

  • You've done this before at scale: been accountable for the commercial results of a product range doing £50m or more, made the category and portfolio calls that came with it, and led a product function of ten or more
  • You've owned category or portfolio decisions in a consumer business and can show what happened as a result. The decision-making matters more than the category
  • You turn a steer into a finished, decided outcome. Handed a direction, you come back with the answer
  • You read data properly and act on it. Conclusions you'd put your name to, not dashboards for their own sake
  • You've led a creative team and they'd work for you again. You coach, you give straight feedback, you fight their corner, and you don't need to be the most creative person in the room to get the best out of the people who are
  • Fast, direct and decisive. You don't need the room to agree before you move
  • Low ego, high ownership. A leader the team trusts

🚀 Why This Role Is Career-Defining

You'll be making the calls that decide what a company doubling every year makes next, with the team to deliver them and a founder who'll back you. You'll sit on the leadership team from day one and work directly with me. The scope, the learning and the exposure here are well beyond a product role at a bigger, slower business.

🎉 The Fun Stuff

  • You'll play games regularly, work with a brilliant and kind team, and watch things you decided on go from a sketch to millions of views and a shelf in Target. It's high energy, high creativity and deeply rewarding.

🏢 Location and Benefits

  • Four days a week in Soho with a team that's a lot of fun to be around, and one from home
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Pension
  • Free games every year, and the kitchen's always stocked
  • Socials, summer sports day, the usual Lucky Egg nonsense
  • Direct line to me as founder, and a seat on the leadership team from day one

🌟 Our Culture and Values

  • Speed: minutes and hours.
  • Think big: chase 10x ideas.
  • Ownership: full accountability.
  • Honesty: direct and transparent.
  • Curiosity: build, test, refine.
  • Exceptional people: low ego, high capability.
