About Us
We are a fast-growing, stealth-mode fintech building a next-generation financial services platform designed to simplify and modernise the way customers manage, move and access money. We are operating at the intersection of fintech, payments and digital banking, with an ambitious product roadmap and a strong focus on creating simple, intuitive and scalable financial experiences.
Head of Product & Delivery
As Head of Product & Delivery, you will own the end-to-end product lifecycle - from identifying customer and market opportunities through to product strategy, prioritisation, development, launch and continuous improvement.
You will work closely with the founders, engineering, design, commercial and operational teams to translate the company's vision into a clear and executable product roadmap.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong understanding of financial services and regulated technology
- Experience across payments, digital banking, fintech platforms or financial products
- Comfortable discussing product strategy with the leadership team, working through technical requirements with engineers and challenging delivery priorities to ensure the business is focused on the highest-value outcomes
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Leadership
- Own and evolve the company's overall product strategy and vision
- Translate business objectives, customer needs and market opportunities into a clear product roadmap
- Define product priorities, objectives, KPIs and success metrics
- Establish a strong product management framework and ways of working
- Lead product discovery, customer research and validation
- Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, revenue, scalability and operational efficiency
- Balance short-term delivery requirements with longer-term product strategy and platform scalability
- Act as a senior product voice across the wider business

Delivery
- Own the end-to-end delivery of the product roadmap
- Establish effective delivery processes across product, engineering, design and other stakeholders
- Ensure initiatives are appropriately scoped, prioritised and resourced
- Identify and manage dependencies, risks, blockers and delivery trade-offs
- Create transparency around progress, priorities and delivery commitments
- Ensure products are delivered to a high standard, on time and with measurable business outcomes
- Build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and high-quality execution
Fintech & Payments
- Strong understanding of the financial services ecosystem and ideally experience across areas such as:
- Payments and payment infrastructure
- Digital banking / challenger banking
- Card issuing and processing
- Account-to-account payments
- Open Banking
- Payment gateways / orchestration
- KYC, AML and customer onboarding
- Fraud and financial crime
- Transaction monitoring
- Banking-as-a-Service
- Financial APIs and third-party integrations
- Regulatory and compliance considerations
- Customer identity and authentication
- Financial products and account infrastructure
- Understand the complexity of building and delivering regulated financial products
Stakeholder & Leadership
- Partner closely with the founders and senior leadership team
- Work collaboratively with Engineering, Design, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Commercial and Customer teams
- Communicate complex product and technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Represent product and delivery at senior leadership level
- Manage and develop product and/or delivery teams as the organisation scales
- Establish strong relationships with technology and financial-services partners

About You
We are looking for a commercially minded product leader who combines strategic thinking with strong execution capability.
Ideal Skills and Experience
- Significant experience in Product Management and/or Product & Delivery leadership
- Strong experience within fintech, payments, banking or financial services technology
- Experience taking financial products from concept through to launch and scale
- A strong understanding of APIs, platforms, integrations and modern technology environments
- Experience working with engineering and technical teams in an agile environment
- A strong understanding of product discovery, prioritisation and roadmap management
- Experience operating in a high-growth, start-up or scale-up environment
- Experience working within regulated environments and understanding the impact of compliance, risk and regulation on product development
- Strong commercial awareness and an ability to connect product decisions to business outcomes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
- The ability to operate at both strategic and highly hands-on levels
