Product Development Manager - M&A Integration and Development in LATAM

The Product organisation is recruiting for a seasoned Product Development Manager to execute on M&A integration and product development builds in support of State Street’s expansion plans in LATAM. The role will report into the Head of Custody, Digital & Fund Services. State Street’s product organisation is leading an exciting period of transformation for the business and requires experienced leaders in product development to engage across the organisation and ensure delivery against a multi-year complex program of change.

Function

You will lead complex cross functional development and integration projects that are critical to the success of State Street in Latam. The work impacts multiple State Street lines of business, clients, regulators and agents. You will run the build out of securities services capabilities in local markets and insure integration of those services into State Street’s global infrastructure. You will work in a time pressured environment with clear deadlines for major deliverables and ultimately deliver a client ready capability to the business.

Responsibilities

  • Establish the strategic development and integration path for State Street and its clients
  • Establishing governance for development programs including the engagement of senior stakeholder management across the organisation
  • Financial planning and securing the required resourcing for development and integration work benchmarked to relevant deal models and budgets
  • Project planning and accountability for the status of development and integration
  • Project execution, including setting up the required streams of work and work stream leadership
  • Leading design workshops across organisations and functions to establish requirements, use cases, test planning
  • Organisation planning to ensure operational readiness
  • Working with client facing teams to ensure client communication, testing and pre/post integration services are fit to operate
  • Working with Technology to deliver on build design and execution

Skills

  • Securities Services subject matter expertise, including familiarity with market developments and trends
  • Exceptional program management skills backed by relevant qualifications
  • Experience in managing change in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable managing across organisations at both senior and junior levels to get development complete
  • Strong completer / finisher
  • Prior experience of successfully delivering change in a complex environment whilst managing competing priorities
  • Track record of solving data integration challenges across complex and at scale product sets

Experience

  • Seasoned SVP / Managing Director with 10+ years experience in Securities Services
  • Worked in Product organisations in prior roles
  • Operated at a global level and experienced in complex markets, LATAM preferably
  • Prior experience working in Operations and/or technology
  • Consultative experience working with institutional investors
  • Strong team leadership and management skills
