MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, or corporate advisory role.
- 5 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
- Experience with people or team management.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience leading teams through organizational shifts, maintaining mission-first environment and psychological safety.
- Knowledge of the Google Ads ecosystem (e.g., Search and AI, YouTube, or Measurement).
- Understanding of Google’s differentiated products and how they solve specific customer business problems in competitive environments.
- Track record of managing complex asset lifecycles, version control, or content management systems.
- Ability to use AI to drive productivity within a design team, while coaching them to build AI-collaboration tools for sellers.
- Ability to holistically understand Google’s business model.
ABOUT THE JOB:
The Product Learning Experiences (PLX) team is responsible for strategic benchmarking of what product expertise is needed for sellers, and owns the learning agenda and execution for products across all areas. The team defines the bar and supporting frameworks to show what is expected for product proficiency, often in combination with other skills and knowledge.

As Head of the PLX team, you will serve as a strategic leader and key relationship lead for Global and Regional product-focused GPS and GTM teams. You will provide thought leadership to translate product roadmaps into global, regional and local longer-term strategies and tactical initiatives that directly address business-blocking skill gaps across sales teams. You will also support scaling local programs into globally scaled learning offerings.
In this role, you will lead the evolution of how learning is created and delivered to sales teams. You will act as a catalyst for AI transformation across Global Learning Experiences (GLX), guiding your team to innovate learning design by strategically leveraging AI-native solutions to build productive, evolving best practices. Partnering across GCE and regional GTM teams, you will ensure product fluency standards align with Google’s long-term commercial goals. Ultimately, you will own decision-making for these large-scale deliverables, breaking down complex, undefined problems across many stakeholder groups into manageable work streams for your team, and setting the standard for how we develop AI-enabled learning strategy in an environment that lacks precedent.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $234,000 - $325,000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Merge strategy and learning expertise with strategic inputs from SMEs/stakeholders. Utilize systems thinking to anticipate future changes in the environment and provide recommendations.
- Drive the infusion of AI into best practices for development to compress development cycles.
- Use strategic insights and outcomes to support scaling local programs and modules into globally scaled learning offerings, while also ensuring modular content supports LT roadmap for Connect Learning.
- Break ambiguous issues into work streams. Lead the team through regular business planning to deliver efficient learning solutions, and evaluate data-driven measurement frameworks that demonstrate behavioral change and long-term business impact.
- Hire, build, and grow a high-performing team. Set goals, prioritize work, and support GLX-wide strategic allocation of resources to maximize business impact.
