Join our Advanced Therapies Solutions (ATS) team as a Head of Product Management Cell Therapy Solutions and play a key role in shaping the strategy, growth and long-term success of the assigned product cluster. Through strategic portfolio management, data-driven decision making and close collaboration across Product Development, Operations, Sales and Marketing, you will help ensure that our products meet customer needs and contribute to better health for more people. Based in Goettingen, Freiburg, Nottingham or Aubagne with the possibility to work some days in a week remotely, you will drive portfolio performance, innovation and sustainable business growth while working closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders across the organization.

Grow With Us – Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the product strategy for the assigned product cluster in alignment with company goals and objectives, ensuring clear prioritization, focus and sustainable portfolio growth
  • Foster collaboration within the Product Management team and across Product Development, Operations, Sales, Marketing and other cross-functional stakeholders to drive execution and business impact
  • Champion the assigned product cluster with senior leadership and key stakeholders, regularly communicating strategy, performance, opportunities and challenges
  • Define, monitor and review relevant portfolio and business KPIs, proactively identifying opportunities, corrective actions and performance improvements
  • Lead and develop a team of Product Managers, ensuring accountability for portfolio success across the entire product lifecycle and promoting a high-performance mindset
  • Conduct regular business and portfolio reviews to assess customer needs, market opportunities and business impact while providing recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Partner with Operations to ensure visibility of portfolio priorities, exceptions and demand-related topics and support alignment across the value chain
  • Leverage customer insights, market intelligence, competitive dynamics and emerging technologies to identify unmet needs and growth opportunities for the assigned product cluster
  • Drive innovation through cross-functional collaboration, rapid evaluation of new concepts and validation of customer value propositions
  • Promote a Sartorius-first mindset in portfolio planning and prioritization activities, ensuring resources and investments are focused on opportunities that create the greatest long-term value for the business

What Will Convince Us

  • Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Business, Marketing or a related field; an MBA or equivalent business qualification is strongly desired.
  • Extensive professional experience in Life Sciences with a proven track record in product management, including experience in customer-facing business environments and people leadership
  • Strong ability to lead teams, establish accountability and align diverse stakeholders around common priorities
  • Excellent understanding of the advanced therapies market, with deep knowledge of cell therapy customer segments, therapeutic and manufacturing workflows, market dynamics, competitive developments and industry trends
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and networking skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities and driving execution
