Head of Product Management Coaching
📍 Edinburgh/Leeds/Manchester/Bristol (Hybrid + occasional travel to other UK hub locations)

Are you a senior Product leader passionate about customer-centric transformation and elevating product management practices at scale?
We're partnering with a major, highly regulated organisation embarking on a significant Product Excellence and operating model transformation. As Head of Product Management Advisory, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping product maturity, influencing senior stakeholders, and embedding world-class product practices across a complex enterprise environment.
The Opportunity
This is a strategic leadership position where you'll lead a Product Advisory capability, working directly with executive stakeholders, product leaders, and transformation teams to strengthen product management maturity and drive meaningful organisational change.
You'll act as a trusted advisor, coach, and change agent—helping leaders shift mindsets, modernise ways of working, and create stronger connections between customer outcomes, product strategy, and business value.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and evolve the Product Management Advisory capability across the organisation.
- Define product management maturity frameworks, standards, and improvement interventions.
- Coach senior product, technology, and business leaders to strengthen product thinking and customer-centric decision-making.
- Embed excellence across product discovery, strategy, prioritisation, experimentation, roadmap development, and outcome measurement.
- Partner with agility and transformation leaders to align product maturity with delivery and operational excellence.
- Influence executive stakeholders and challenge existing behaviours to drive positive change.
- Develop and mentor Product Management Coaches, ensuring consistency and quality of delivery.
- Champion customer-centricity across governance, prioritisation, and strategic decision-making.
- Support large-scale transformation initiatives focused on modernising product management practices, tooling, and ways of working.

What We're Looking For
- Significant experience leading Product functions within large organisations.
- Proven success building, scaling, or transforming product organisations.
- Deep expertise across product operating models, product strategy, discovery, and customer-led innovation.
- Strong experience coaching senior leaders, executives, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to influence and negotiate at executive level, particularly in environments undergoing change.
- Experience operating within complex, regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of how product management, agility, governance, and delivery excellence interact.
- A track record of driving measurable business impact through improved product practices and organisational transformation.
