Your role

As a Head of Product Management Measurement & Instrumentation (m/f/d) in part-/full-time, your mission is to lead and transform the global Measurement & Instrumentation Product Management function into a high-performing, customer-centric organization that drives profitable growth, technology leadership, and market share expansion across all key segments. You will report to the VP Measurement & Instrumentation BU.

You will

  • Define and execute the global M&I product strategy across gauges, instrumentation, hardware, controls, and related smart solutions.
  • Align the portfolio roadmap with BU growth ambitions, customer needs, competitive positioning, and technology trends.
  • Lead the integration of acquired products and technologies into the M&I portfolio and identify future expansion opportunities across applications, geographies, and technologies.
  • Identify and drive new product development opportunities in close collaboration with R&D, Engineering, Sales, Operations, and external partners.
  • Ensure world-class product marketing, including positioning, sales enablement, pricing tools, and scalable commercial frameworks for Customer Centers.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a global team of Product Managers, creating clear governance, strong collaboration, development plans, and succession pipelines.

To succeed, you will need

  • Several years (+10) of relevant experience in technical, sales, marketing, or product management roles, ideally within an international high-technology, scientific, or industrial environment
  • A degree or higher qualification in engineering, science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a good understanding of financial aspects that impact P&L performance.
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge of vacuum products and their applications in the marketplace.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with confidence in interacting with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Relevant experience of (virtually) leading and motivating a diverse team in multiple locations

Job location

Hybrid

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our in Cologne, Burgess Hill, Germany (DE).
