About Octopus Electroverse

We’re making electric vehicle public charging simple, by building the giant, virtual charging platform of the future. In just five years, Octopus Electroverse has become Europe’s largest eMobility charging network, with over 1.4 million connected electric vehicle chargers globally across 79 countries. Our customer ecosystem spans web, iOS, Android, CarPlay, Android Auto & Automotive OS.

But this is just the start: we’re busy expanding internationally, growing our Charge Point Operator and OEM partners, and scaling our Octopus Fleet B2B proposition - all in the name of making public EV charging super simple for our customers. Electroverse is a cross-functional team of product, engineering, commercial, operations and marketing, all sharing a passion for shifting the industry towards EVs.

About the Job

Electroverse operates as a relatively lean team, which means where we focus our energy really counts. Product and engineering make up roughly half of the business, reflecting how central technical execution is to our growth.

This is primarily a leadership role grounded in deep product craft. While day-to-day feature execution and detailed roadmap planning are owned by our Product Managers, your focus is on high-level direction, organisational design, and cross-functional alignment; with the depth and credibility to dive into product details whenever necessary.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the Product team at Octopus Electroverse, overseeing B2C, B2B, and Licensing verticals across global markets, with cross-functional oversight of Design, Client Delivery, and Integration teams.
  • Report directly to the Founder as part of the leadership team, working alongside department Heads and Directors to shape wider business strategy and execution.
  • Translate business strategy into a clear product vision, prioritising major investments and feature capabilities based on customer impact and commercial return.
  • Work closely with engineering leads to turn overarching strategy into executable, high-impact product direction.
  • Support high-performing squads by unblocking delivery, setting deep context, mitigating operational risk, and maintaining momentum.
  • Design and evolve team structures as Electroverse scales, building career pathways and upskilling talent across the team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key external partners where occasionally required, for example with suppliers, vehicle OEMs, Charge Point Operators (CPOs), and enterprise B2B clients.
  • Maintain oversight of key performance metrics, initiative progress, and operational execution for executive stakeholders.
  • Stay ahead of product trends, tools, and methodologies, continuously reviewing and refining our operating approach.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
