Job Title

Head of Product Operations, EMEA

About your role:

We are seeking a highly organised, process-driven leader to own the operating spine of the EMEA Financial Solutions product function. The role leads Enablement and Product Operations across the EMEA product line. Its purpose is to make the businesses carry revenue faster in line with both client needs and product strategy, more consistent and better evidenced.

Two things sit at the centre of the role. The first is client discovery: how we work with a client to understand what they actually need, and how we hold the line that our platforms are adopted rather than adapted. The second is prioritisation coordination: taking the demands arriving from across the region, making the trade-offs visible, and getting them into one ordered view that the product businesses and the global product teams can both work from.

Around those sit the practices that keep a product organisation honest - the Product Review Committee, pricing and contract standards, documentation, training, the developer studio, the product catalogue, and the reporting and market intelligence that leadership decides from. This is a builder's role as much as a leader's one: several of these practices exist today only as a named gap.

What you’ll do:

  • Client Discovery Practice - Own the EMEA client discovery method, standards, artefacts and cadence. Lead live discovery engagements with clients and business teams. Uphold adopt-not-adapt, meeting client needs without platform customisation. Make discovery insights reusable across clients. Coordinate regional discovery and efficient onboarding for smaller opportunities.
  • Prioritisation and Regional Demand Coordination - Coordinate regional priorities, capturing requests, clients, deadlines and trade-offs. Lead triage with product managers using clear assessment criteria. Align with global teams on configuration, integration and core platform needs. Maintain a single, evidence-based demand view and keep requesters informed of status, dependencies and changes.
  • Product Review Committee - Chair the regional committee, ensuring proposals are decision-ready. Facilitate clear decisions, ownership and next steps. Track execution, communicate outcomes and maintain the decision record.
  • Pricing and Contract Standards - Ensure consistent pricing and contract terms across EMEA. Support deal reviews with clear standards, templates and evidence, working with Legal, Finance and commercial teams to manage exceptions and keep guidance current.
  • Product Enablement and Documentation - Lead go-to-market collateral, RFP responses, product documentation and demos. Maintain an accurate product catalogue and consistent, high-quality artefacts.
  • Reporting, KPIs and Market Intelligence - Deliver trusted leadership reporting and dashboards on product performance, risks, capacity, demand and dependencies. Maintain clear regional KPIs and current market and competitor intelligence.
  • AI in the Product Function - Embed AI in team practices and product operations, identify product opportunities, and partner with Technology and global teams on responsible use in regulated financial services.
  • Leading the Function - Build and lead a neutral, process-focused Product Operations function, partnering across teams to establish effective governance and champion transparency, accountability and client focus.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
