Head of Product, Pricing & Performance
Location: Maidenhead
Salary: Up to £80,000 per annum
The Head of Product, Pricing & Performance is a pivotal commercial leadership role with direct access to the Managing Director. You will own and shape the product and pricing strategy for a national, multi-site estate, with a mandate to accelerate revenue growth across cremation services, memorials and cemeteries.
You will create tiered, differentiated propositions spanning accessible value through to premium, strengthen pricing governance, and unlock new revenue streams. You will serve as a key commercial partner to the MD, identifying performance trends, pinpointing underperformance, and developing strategies to drive growth.
Working across Operations, Marketing and Finance, you will translate insight and data into delivery, bringing focus, clarity and momentum to the initiatives that will define CMG's next phase.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Owning end-to-end product and pricing strategy across memorials, cemeteries and cremation services, with continuous optimisation to drive revenue, margin and competitive positioning.
- Developing tiered product ranges that improve customer choice, conversion and revenue per transaction.
- Taking accountability for revenue growth across CMG's three key verticals and building a commercial culture where performance data drives decision-making.
- Leading the development of new products and services, including digital and experience-led offerings, testing and scaling at pace.
- Designing and delivering compelling propositions across all customer segments, with a specific focus on premium and luxury.
- Collaborating with Operations, Marketing and Finance to align products, pricing and conversion activity across the estate.
- Ensuring all pricing and product decisions are correctly governed, compliant with regulatory requirements, and implemented consistently.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We are building a modern, end-to-end business that supports families across every stage: wills, funeral plans, funerals, probate, cremations, burials and memorialisation. The ambition is to move from transactional interactions to lifelong relationships.
Crematoria & Memorial Group (CMG) is one of the UK's largest operators of crematoria, memorial gardens and cemeteries. It is a business in growth, with real investment behind it and a clear mandate to lead its sector for quality, relevance and commercial performance.
This is a business in the middle of a multi-year transformation, with senior sponsorship, a defined strategic direction, and momentum behind the change. For the right person, it is a rare opportunity to set the commercial agenda and see tangible impact in months, not years.
What You'll Bring
We are looking for a highly commercial leader who thinks strategically and executes practically. You will be comfortable moving between big-picture thinking and hands-on delivery, confident in influencing stakeholders at a senior level, and genuinely driven to build something that matters.
You will bring:
- Significant experience in product management, pricing strategy or commercial development, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
- Experience designing and managing tiered product ranges across diverse customer segments, including premium and luxury propositions.
- A strong background in commercial analytics, with the ability to translate data into confident, high-impact decisions.
- Experience identifying new revenue opportunities and bringing them to market at pace.
- Comfort operating in complex, cross-functional organisations and navigating matrix structures.
- A customer-first mindset that balances commercial intent with genuine empathy.
- The resilience and drive to succeed in a growth-focused, multi-site environment.
- Experience working with AI to develop propositions and drive performance is advantageous.
