Your role:
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring strict compliance with GMP regulations.
- Lead and mentor a team of production staff, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance to ensure all products meet the highest regulatory and quality standards.
- Proactively identify and resolve production issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Your expertise:
- A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in GMP manufacturing, preferably in radiopharmaceuticals or sterile products.
- In-depth knowledge of 18F-labelled PET radiopharmaceutical production processes.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements for PET drug production, including MHRA and FDA guidelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
