Head of Professional Services

Location: Belfast (Hybrid)

Are you an experienced professional services leader looking for the opportunity to build, scale and lead a customer-focused technology services function?

We're partnering with an established technology organisation seeking a Head of Professional Services to take ownership of its implementation and delivery function - driving customer success, commercial growth, operational excellence, and the continued development of the professional services offering.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded leader who enjoys combining people leadership, customer engagement, technology delivery, and revenue growth within a growing software environment.

The Role

As Head of Professional Services, you will lead and develop the organisation's professional services function, managing a team of implementation consultants responsible for software deployments, customer onboarding, consultancy engagements, and ongoing customer outcomes.

You will have ownership of the function's performance, including team development, delivery quality, customer relationships, utilisation, and growth of billable services.

You will play a key role in shaping the future direction of the services function, improving delivery capability, developing scalable processes, and identifying opportunities to expand the organisation's customer offering.

This role will suit someone who has successfully led implementation, consulting, or professional services teams and enjoys building high-performing functions while remaining close to customers and commercial opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
