Join our market-leading Employment, Pensions and Immigration team and shape legal support delivery. Drive creativity, collaboration, and innovation.

The role

Are you a legal professional with a passion for innovation and leadership?

We're looking for a lawyer to lead our Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) team within the Employment, Pensions and Immigration (EPI) National Service Line (NSL). This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of legal support, drive digital transformation, and make a real impact across our fast growing, leading national practice. Applications from candidates seeking part-time working will be considered.

The person

The successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor.

  • Either be a senior-level PSL with relevant expertise in employment and (ideally) immigration law and proven experience of leading a PSL team, or a senior lawyer with the same expertise and equivalent experience.
  • An individual who embraces digital tools and automation.
  • A clear communicator with excellent written English and a flair for engaging content.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and commercial awareness.

The activities

  • Lead and inspire a talented team of PSLs, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Drive innovation in legal content creation—think blogs, newsletters, press releases, and digital campaigns.
  • Deliver engaging training to clients and colleagues, helping them stay ahead of legal developments.
  • Champion technology, managing automated precedent documents and exploring new tools to enhance efficiency.
  • Keep our lawyers sharp, ensuring they're up to date with legislation, best practices, and market trends.
  • Support onboarding, making sure new joiners receive top-tier know-how inductions.
  • Collaborate across teams, working with partners, innovation specialists, and knowledge experts to elevate our national reputation

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
