Lead a nationally significant environmental investment programme
We're looking for an experienced programme leader to head our Coal Project Delivery team and lead a £20m-£30m annual capital investment programme that improves water quality, protects communities and delivers lasting environmental benefits across the UK.
About the Role
As Head of Project Delivery (Coal), you'll lead an established team of project and programme professionals, providing strategic direction and oversight across a diverse portfolio of complex environmental projects. You'll work closely with senior leaders, delivery partners and technical specialists to ensure successful delivery while shaping the future direction of the programme.

We're interested in leaders from infrastructure, water, utilities, environmental delivery, highways, construction or similar complex delivery environments.
Key Requirements
You'll bring:
- Experience leading large-scale capital programmes or portfolios
- A track record of developing high-performing teams
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Commercial, governance and risk management expertise
- Experience overseeing significant budgets and delivery partners
- The ability to turn strategy into successful delivery
