The Role:

We are looking for a motivated Head of Projects, experienced within the IT Professional Services industry, who will come in and put their stamp on the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage and develop our Projects and Program team, including Project Managers and Project Coordinators
  • Define and execute best working practices and roll out Playbooks of defined and proven practices and workflows to ensure service excellence
  • Responsibility for driving continuous improvement of project management processes and practices
  • Hands on management and delivery of key customer projects
  • Ensuring excellent customer satisfaction through delivery of projects to the agreed cost, time, scope, quality and security constraints
  • Provide monthly project pipeline / utilisation data to support effective business decisions
  • Proactively manage customer relationships to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Provide regular, accurate and timely client reporting to meet and exceed customer’s expectations
  • Establish regular, clear and consistent channels of communication at all levels within the organisation.

  • Experience in managing a Project Management team within the IT Services space is essential
  • Project management qualifications such as Prince2 are essential
  • Proven success in technical project delivery
  • An advanced level of technical knowledge, especially with Data Centers, surrounding Networking, Storage, Infrastructure and Architecture
  • Experience of leading multiple projects at the same time
  • Ability to build relationships with team members across the business
  • Experience of strategic/operational leadership within a growing SME would be highly advantageous.

Salary range:

£80,000 - £85,000 plus discretionary bonus

Location:

This is office based from our Croydon HQ (CR0 4WD), with some hybrid working.
