Take Ownership of Projects

About the Role

Take ownership of projects for a world-leading manufacturer of specialist imaging and vision systems. A growing business who are part of a wider technology group on the stock exchange; this is a rare opportunity at a project level to be given the freedom to implement your own processes, governances, and frameworks.

You’ll take ownership of project delivery and will be expected to scope and shape how project management works at the business, introducing governance, processes, and disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Establish PMO framework, governance, and standards
  • Take ownership of project planning and delivery from concept to delivery
  • Lead/support project managers and cross-functional teams
  • Manage budget, forecasting, resources, and financial performance

Technical Experience Required

  • Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional projects/programmes
  • Industry: engineering, technology, electronics
  • Project Management tools: Agile, waterfall methods, use of MS Project, Jira, 365

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central or Dynamics 365 Project Operations
  • PRINCE2 or an equivalent project/programme management qualification
  • A degree in Engineering, Science, or another relevant discipline
