Head of Property Finance

Are you a qualified accountant with strong property finance experience looking for a senior leadership role with broad commercial and strategic responsibility?
We're seeking a Head of Property Finance to lead the financial management of a diverse property portfolio and associated commercial activities. Reporting to the CFO, you'll oversee budgeting, forecasting, reporting, compliance, VAT, audits, procurement, and financial controls, while partnering with senior stakeholders to drive performance and support key property projects.

What you'll do:
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
- Oversee property accounting, service charges, and commercial tenant invoicing
- Ensure strong financial controls, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance
- Manage VAT and statutory reporting requirements
- Support procurement, contract management, and major property initiatives
- Lead and develop a small finance team
What we're looking for:
- CCAB-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CIPFA)
- Significant experience in financial management and reporting
- Strong understanding of VAT, audit, and financial controls
- Advanced Excel and accounting systems expertise
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Property, real estate, charity, or commercial finance experience desirable
