Your new company
You will be joining a real estate investor which seeks to provide exceptional income and growth investment opportunities for investors. They invest right across a range of sectors including office, retail, leisure, industrial, residential, and healthcare sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand the in-house property management team with a Head of Property based in central Manchester to manage their own portfolio.
The business is split into three areas:
- Property Management
- Asset Management
- Investment
Your new role
This opportunity could fall in either property management or asset management depending on the candidate's background. A lot of the properties they own are largely in mixed-use office space which you would manage. You will join a wider team of thirteen professionals with plans to continue to grow. They operate nationally, but the bulk of the work would be in the North West patch.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
