Location: Remote, United Kingdom (regular European travel)
Type: Full-time, permanent
Head of Proposition and Commercial Strategy
A pan-European commercial and industrial renewable energy platform, backed by a FTSE 100 listed energy group, is hiring a Head of Proposition and Commercial Strategy to own the customer proposition across its European businesses.
The business
The platform is a network of 12+ B2B green power businesses operating across eight European countries, with more than 300 MW of solar installed in the last financial year plus a growing portfolio of add-on energy products. The mission is straightforward: give commercial and industrial customers a genuine route to electrification, whatever stage of the transition they are at.
A small, multicultural European team sits at the centre. Each member owns their area with real autonomy.
The opportunity
Reporting to the Managing Director for Europe, you will define what the group sells and why customers choose it. This is the role that turns a network of local solar businesses into a coherent European proposition, and it carries genuine influence over the growth strategy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
