Head of Public Relations – International Operations
London | Hybrid | International remit
My client is a leading professional services PLC with a significant international presence and ambitious plans for continued growth across Europe and wider global markets. They are looking for an experienced Head of Public Relations to take ownership of the international PR agenda, strengthen corporate reputation, and increase the organisation’s profile across key markets.
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior PR leader who enjoys combining strategic leadership with hands-on delivery. You will lead an international team of PR professionals, help shape and expand the function, and work closely with senior stakeholders across multiple countries and time zones.
The Opportunity
You will take a leading role in shaping how the organisation is positioned externally across its international markets. Working closely with senior executives, country leaders, and wider marketing and communications teams, you will develop PR programmes that are globally aligned but locally relevant.
A key part of the role will be developing the international PR function and team, building capability, identifying future requirements, and creating an environment where people can perform and develop. You will also be expected to remain close to the work. This is not a purely strategic leadership position; you will personally contribute to campaigns, media relations, thought leadership, and senior-level communications.
Your Responsibilities
International PR & Reputation
- Own the international PR strategy across multiple markets, with a particular focus on Europe.
- Develop campaigns that strengthen corporate reputation, brand visibility, and thought leadership.
- Adapt global messaging for different markets, audiences, and cultural environments.
- Identify emerging trends, stories, and opportunities that can generate meaningful media coverage.
- Lead communications planning around sensitive issues and reputational matters.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
