🚨 Head of QSHE | Leeds | £70,000 + Car Allowance
If you're an experienced QHSE / SHEQ leader looking for the opportunity to step into a genuine Head of Function role, this one is worth a look.
I'm partnering with one of the UK's fastest-growing facilities management businesses as they appoint a Head of QSHE to lead their Quality, Safety, Health & Environmental strategy across a large, national operation.
This isn't a role where you'll simply inherit a system and keep it ticking over.
You'll have real influence across the business, working directly with the Executive team to shape strategy, improve standards and continue building a proactive safety and compliance culture across thousands of operational locations.
The role:
- £70,000 + Car Allowance
- Leeds Head Office + national travel
- Large-scale, multi-site FM environment
- High-growth business with significant Executive visibility
- Leadership responsibility for the wider QSHE function

You'll take ownership of:
- Company-wide QSHE strategy
- ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 management systems
- Corporate Health & Safety governance
- Internal audits, site inspections & external certification
- Corporate risk register & Risk Committee
- Incident investigation and continuous improvement
- Environmental compliance & ESG support
- QSHE training and competency frameworks
- Executive Board reporting
- Developing and leading the QSHE team
What we're looking for:
Ideally you'll already be operating as a Head of QHSE / SHEQ, Lead QHSE Manager, Senior QHSE Manager or Regional QHSE Manager within Facilities Management or another large, multi-site service environment.

You'll need strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation alongside genuine experience managing integrated ISO systems.
A NEBOSH Diploma / equivalent Level 6 qualification is important, with CMIOSH highly desirable.
