At Beagle Aircraft, we are a trusted aerospace manufacturer with a long-standing reputation for delivering precision-engineered components and assemblies to the global aerospace industry. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Head of Quality to lead our Quality function and shape the future of quality, compliance and operational excellence across the business.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Senior Leadership Team and play a key role in driving quality strategy, maintaining regulatory compliance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement while supporting the delivery of world-class aerospace products.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll provide strategic leadership for the Quality function, ensuring our Quality Management System remains compliant with AS9100, ISO9001, NADCAP and customer-specific aerospace requirements. You'll lead our Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Inspection teams, working closely with Operations, Engineering, Commercial and Supply Chain to ensure product conformity, regulatory compliance and exceptional customer satisfaction while driving continuous improvement across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership of the Quality function, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational excellence.
- Lead and continually improve the Quality Management System, maintaining compliance with AS9100, ISO9001, NADCAP and customer requirements.
- Lead internal, customer, supplier and third-party audits, ensuring successful outcomes and timely closure of corrective actions.
- Drive a proactive quality culture, promoting product conformity, product safety and continuous improvement throughout the business.
- Develop strong relationships with customers, suppliers and regulatory bodies, acting as the senior quality representative.
- Lead investigations into customer complaints, non-conformances and root cause analysis, ensuring robust corrective and preventive actions.
- Oversee supplier quality performance, supplier approvals and supplier development activities.
- Monitor quality KPIs, business risks and compliance metrics, providing regular reporting to the Senior Leadership Team.
About You
We're looking for an experienced Quality Leader with a proven background in aerospace manufacturing and a passion for developing people, improving systems and delivering operational excellence. You'll ideally have:

- Extensive experience leading a Quality function within the aerospace, defence or precision engineering manufacturing sector.
- Excellent working knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001, AS9102, NADCAP, APQP and PPAP.
- A proven track record of managing Quality Management Systems and delivering successful customer, regulatory and certification audits.
- Experience leading Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Inspection teams.
- Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes, engineering drawings and product conformity.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
- An Engineering Degree, Quality qualification or equivalent industry experience.
