Role Description
The Head of Quality is a full-time, hybrid role based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for leading the overall quality strategy, systems, and processes across Kane Group’s building-service projects, ensuring that quality objectives are met and continuously improved.

- Developing and maintaining quality management frameworks
- Overseeing quality assurance and quality control activities
- Conducting and reviewing quality audits
- Analyzing performance data to identify trends and root causes of issues
- Collaborating closely with project teams, operations, health and safety, and supply chain partners to embed best practices, standardize procedures, and drive a culture of quality throughout the organization
- Coaching and mentoring team members
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
- Reporting on quality performance to senior leadership
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Quality Management and Quality Assurance, with the ability to design, implement, and optimize organization-wide quality systems.
- Strong background in Quality Control and Quality Auditing, including experience establishing inspection protocols and leading internal and external audits.
- Advanced Analytical Skills, with the capability to interpret data, assess risks, identify root causes, and recommend practical improvements.
- Experience in quality leadership within construction, engineering, or building-services environments, ideally in a contractor setting.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and clients to maintain high quality and safety standards.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and report-writing skills, with attention to detail and a structured approach.
- Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in quality (e.g., ISO 9001, CQI membership) and a degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field are advantageous.
- Commitment to health, safety, and wellbeing, with a track record of embedding these principles into quality practices and organizational culture.
