Head of Quality & Compliance | Elderly Care Provider

Location: Kent & Sussex.
Salary: £70,000 per annum + Company Car & Bonus.

Compass Associates are delighted to be working with an established and growing care provider who are looking to appoint an experienced Head of Quality & Compliance to provide quality assurance, governance and regulatory oversight across a group of Nursing & Residential Homes.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced care-sector quality professional looking to take on a senior, multi-site position with direct exposure to the senior leadership team. The organisation has a strong focus on quality and places significant autonomy with its experienced Home Managers. They are therefore looking for someone who can provide effective oversight, constructive challenge and support, whilst recognising that different homes and management teams may require different approaches.

The Role

As Head of Quality & Compliance, you will have responsibility for quality assurance, governance and regulatory oversight across the group, working closely with Home Managers and senior leadership. You will undertake regular visits across the services, identifying themes and trends, highlighting areas where practice could be improved and supporting managers to maintain and develop high standards of care.

The role will suit someone who is comfortable working autonomously, enjoys being visible within services and can strike the right balance between building strong relationships and providing appropriate challenge.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
