Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You will lead a multi-disciplinary QA function, working closely with Engineering, Product, Information Security, senior leaders and third-party suppliers to reduce production incidents, strengthen security, improve delivery confidence and accelerate release cadence.

You will also play a key role in embedding AI and automation across the testing lifecycle, from intelligent test selection and self-healing automation through to anomaly detection and governance for AI-powered features.

What you’ll be doing

  • Setting the roadmap for testing capability, tooling, governance and team structure
  • Embedding quality gates into CI/CD pipelines and championing shift-left engineering practices
  • Driving the use of AI and automation across the testing lifecycle to improve speed, confidence and productivity

  • Owning performance, load testing, observability and resilience strategies across critical systems
  • Translating technical risk into clear, business-focused insight for senior and executive audiences
  • Leading, developing and inspiring a QA team, creating clear objectives, development pathways and a culture of ownership, curiosity and continuous improvement

  • Practical experience applying AI, ML or AI-augmented tooling within a testing or engineering environment
  • Knowledge of automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright or equivalent, plus performance and security testing tooling
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence senior and executive audiences
