Head of Quality, Standards and Assessment Development
Salary range: £51,000 - £57,000 per year
Type of contract: Permanent
Location: London, Hybrid
Working hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
About the role
Examinations are a core component of the RCOG’s educational activity and, for many doctors, the first point of contact with the College. The MRCOG is a highly-regarded qualification both in the UK and internationally. It is also a compulsory waypoint in the UK O&G specialty training programme.
The Head of Quality, Standards & Assessment Development is responsible for managing and supporting the examinations team to ensure that examinations are delivered to the highest standard in line with best practice and GMC statutory requirements. The role is also required to focus on the content, performance and impact of the College examinations within the O&G speciality, and to provide input on assessment matters and lead on areas for development and improvements across College examinations.
