Role Overview

Peacehaven Community School is seeking to recruit an excellent Head of Head of RE, Philosophy & Ethics who is looking for an exciting Teaching and Learning responsibility, leading our forward-thinking RE department.

You may be an ambitious RE teacher seeking your first Head of Department role, or you may already be a successful TLR holder or Middle Leader. We believe in developing the capacity of our staff and the successful candidate will be given the opportunity to participate in CPD that will enhance knowledge and support growth.

We are particularly interested in employing a candidate who has a strong, forward-looking vision for the RE curriculum.

  • Have the ability to teach and lead across both Key Stages 3 & 4.
  • Be able to lead, motivate and inspire students and colleagues.
