Head of Recruitment – Specialist in Ofsted Services

Children’s Residential Care
West Midlands

A growing children’s residential care provider is seeking an experienced, values-driven Head of Recruitment to lead talent strategy across its Ofsted-regulated services.

This is a senior leadership role for someone who understands the unique demands of children’s residential care and can build high-performing teams that deliver safe, stable, and nurturing environments for young people.

What You’ll Lead

  • End-to-end recruitment strategy for Ofsted-regulated homes
  • Workforce planning, forecasting, and talent pipelines
  • Attraction, selection, and onboarding of Registered Managers, Deputies, Seniors, and Support Workers
  • Compliance-aligned recruitment processes (Ofsted, safer recruitment, safeguarding)
  • Employer branding and candidate engagement across the West Midlands
  • Partnerships with local authorities, universities, training providers, and community networks
  • Leadership of the internal recruitment team, driving performance and continuous improvement
