Description

Are you ready to lead and shape the future of our registry and reseller business? As the Head of Registry and Reseller within our Domain, Identity and Software division, you will be responsible for managing and expanding our registry and reseller channels. This pivotal role involves developing and executing strategies to grow market share, enhance partner relationships, and drive revenue—ensuring sustained growth and strong, collaborative partnerships across our network.

Key outcomes of the role

Customer & Partner Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with registry customers and reseller partners
  • Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms
  • Manage domain registration, renewal, and maintenance processes
  • Collaborate with domain resellers to optimise distribution channels

Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team focused on registry and reseller operations
  • Develop a collaborative and results-oriented team culture

Market Analysis and Insights

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis
  • Represent the business at key events

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the registry and reseller channels
  • Ensure efficient and effective processes are in place for customer and partner onboarding, support, and management
  • Streamline processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs

Customer Focus

  • Ensure that registry customers and reseller partners receive excellent support and service
  • Working in collaboration with the head of product and innovation, ensure that the product offerings exceed customer expectations
  • Through unparalleled customer focus and strong relationships, know what customers and partners need before they know themselves
  • Implement feedback mechanisms to continuously improve customer and partner satisfaction
  • Develop and implement programmes to attract new registry customers and new reseller partners, and support existing ones, driving growth in the reseller channel

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with industry (ICANN) regulations and other relevant standards
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with registry and reseller operations

About You

  • Have a passion for sales, business development, or partner management roles
  • Bring demonstrable experience in the domain registry operations and reseller market dynamics
  • Enjoy a fast-paced environment
  • Be results and target driven
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both oral and in writing
  • Have exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Be a creative thinker, always thinking “how can we”
  • Show a strong desire to succeed and make a difference
