Head of Regulatory Reporting
Are you an experienced Regulatory Reporting professional looking for the opportunity to step into a Head of role, or already leading a function and looking for a broader challenge within a high-growth financial services business?
Join a rapidly evolving, international regulated financial services business.
We’re partnering with an established, technology-led financial services organisation that is continuing to evolve its international finance and regulatory infrastructure following significant growth, investment and product development.
They’re now looking to appoint a Head of Regulatory Reporting to lead and develop an established function, with a particular focus on capital reporting, prudential reporting and the continued transformation of the regulatory reporting environment.
This isn’t a role focused simply on maintaining an established reporting cycle.
You’ll have the opportunity to shape how regulatory reporting operates, improve and automate processes, broaden the remit of the team and work closely with senior stakeholders on the regulatory and capital implications of new products, markets and strategic initiatives.
For the right person, this could be an excellent first Head of opportunity.
The Opportunity
You’ll take ownership of an established regulatory reporting function covering areas including capital, liquidity, financial and statistical regulatory reporting, while helping determine how the function develops as the business continues to scale.
You’ll lead an international team with a mixture of regulatory reporting, capital and technical expertise, alongside support across data and reporting infrastructure.
Alongside delivery, there is a clear transformation agenda. The business wants someone who can challenge the status quo, improve scalability and controls, utilise technology and automation, and continue developing the scope and capability of the function.
What you’ll be doing
Regulatory Reporting & Capital
- Lead the delivery of regulatory and prudential reporting across an international regulated financial services business.
- Provide strong expertise across capital reporting, alongside liquidity, financial and statistical regulatory reporting.
- Ensure reporting remains accurate, controlled and scalable as the organisation continues to evolve.
- Assess the regulatory capital implications of new products, initiatives and wider business changes.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand opportunities to improve capital efficiency.
- Support the business as its products, markets and regulatory requirements continue to develop.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The type of person who will thrive
We’re looking for someone who enjoys building rather than simply maintaining.
You’ll be intellectually curious, commercially minded and comfortable challenging established ways of working. You’ll understand the technical detail but also be able to step back and explain what the numbers mean for the wider business.
You don’t necessarily need to already hold the Head of Regulatory Reporting title. We’re equally interested in exceptional Senior Managers, Directors or strong number-two profiles who have the technical credibility, leadership capability and ambition to take the next step.
You’ll thrive in an environment where things move quickly, priorities evolve and there is an expectation that people look for smarter and more efficient ways of working.
This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of an important international function while helping shape what regulatory reporting looks like as the organisation continues to grow and evolve.
The Package
- Competitive depending on experience
- Equity opportunity
- Additional performance-related long-term reward potential
- Hybrid working
- Significant international exposure
- High-level visibility with senior finance and business leadership
- Genuine opportunity to shape and transform a critical finance function
If you’re looking for a role combining technical regulatory expertise, leadership, transformation and genuine commercial influence, we’d love to hear from you.
