Head of Research & Formula Development
For over 50 years, The Body Shop has challenged convention - proving that business can be a force for good.
We're now looking for a Head of Research & Formula Development to join our team in Brighton and help shape the future of our product portfolio.
This is a strategically important leadership role, responsible for defining and delivering our formula strategy while driving sustainable innovation across our skincare, haircare and bath & body categories.
Working at the intersection of science, sustainability and product innovation, you'll lead the development of future-facing formulas that delight customers, differentiate our brand and support our long-term growth ambitions. You'll work closely with Product Marketing, Innovation partners, external laboratories and senior stakeholders to bring breakthrough ideas to life and ensure we remain at the forefront of ethical beauty.

We're looking for an experienced R&D and formulation leader with a strong track record of delivering innovation in a consumer-facing environment, deep technical expertise and the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear commercial opportunities.
