We are currently looking to recruit a full time (40 hours per week) Head of Reservations to join the Reservations team at The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa - a renowned 5 AA red star property located within the beautiful City of Bath.
The key requirements of the role are excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage the department to ensure all incoming accommodation and restaurant enquiries are handled in a professional manner. In this role you will be working closely with the Revenue Management and the Reservations team to assist with the smooth and efficient running of the operation whilst maintaining internal and external communication to a five star standard. Providing leadership, guidance, and direction to the reservation team, including recruitment, training, and professional development, to foster a high-performing and motivated workforce.

Key Responsibilities:
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to build rapport with guests.
- Ability to produce work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Strong computer skills: all Microsoft Office packages and working knowledge of Opera PMS is preferable.
- Great team player and positive attitude.
- Negotiating with clients to achieve maximum revenue profit potential, whilst satisfying clients’ needs.
- Being fully aware of all tariffs, promotions, facilities, and current activities within the hotel.
