Head of Resident Experience, Marketing & Operations

Reporting to: CEOs
The Role
Cohabit8 is seeking a commercially minded, highly organised and proactive individual to help oversee the day-to-day performance of our residences, enhance the resident experience and develop the Cohabit8 brand.
Working closely with the CEOs and Facilities Director, this person will help ensure the CEOs’ vision and strategy are translated into effective action across the business, while maintaining strong relationships with our landlords and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operational performance of Cohabit8 residences, working closely with the Facilities Director to maintain consistently high standards.
- Continually review and improve the resident experience, from initial enquiry and move-in through to occupation, renewal and departure.
- Monitor resident feedback and complaints, ensuring issues are addressed effectively and recurring themes lead to operational improvements.
- Develop initiatives to improve resident engagement, community, satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain strong relationships between Cohabit8 and its landlords, acting as a key point of contact, providing regular communication and ensuring landlord requirements and expectations are understood and appropriately managed.
- Support and develop Cohabit8’s marketing and brand strategy, including digital marketing, social media, campaigns and resident communications.
- Work with the commercial team to support occupancy, enquiries, conversions and revenue performance.
- Maintain oversight of key operational and commercial KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work directly with the CEOs to implement strategic initiatives and take ownership of projects from concept through to delivery.
- Work collaboratively with the Facilities Director to ensure the operational environment supports the required resident experience.
- Identify new ideas, technologies, partnerships and processes that could improve Cohabit8’s service, brand and operational efficiency.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is commercial, operational, creative and highly proactive, with the ability to move comfortably between strategy and hands-on execution.
Experience within property, PBSA, Build-to-Rent, hospitality, hotels or another customer-focused business would be advantageous.
The individual should have strong marketing awareness, excellent communication and relationship-management skills, and the confidence to work directly with the CEOs, landlords and senior leadership.
Most importantly, they should have a strong sense of ownership — identifying opportunities and problems, taking responsibility and ensuring things get done.
Measures of Success
Success will be measured through resident satisfaction, landlord relationships, occupancy, retention, operational standards, marketing performance, brand development and successful delivery of CEO-led initiatives.
