Join the Nellsar Family

Nellsar is a family-run care group with 13 Homes across Kent, Surrey and Essex. Compassion is at the heart of everything we do, and we're dedicated to creating warm, welcoming Homes where residents feel valued, comfortable and truly part of the family. From expert residential, nursing and dementia care, to in-house physiotherapy and rehabilitation, engaging activities, and our innovative approach to nutrition and wellbeing, we deliver personalised care with genuine kindness.

We're looking for an experienced and passionate Head of Resident Experience to lead and enhance the resident experience across the group.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of resident wellbeing, recreation and dementia care within a highly regarded care group. With responsibility for leading and evolving Nellsar's Dementia Strategy, you will influence practice across the organisation, ensuring the latest evidence-based approaches, dementia-friendly principles and innovative programmes are embedded throughout our Homes. Working closely with operational teams, Home Managers and senior leaders, you'll drive excellence in resident experience, enabling residents to live meaningful, fulfilling lives while supporting outstanding quality and regulatory outcomes.

We're seeking an inspirational and credible leader who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach. You'll be passionate about advancing dementia care and have the ability to influence, coach and support teams to embed best practice, drive innovation and deliver exceptional resident experiences across multiple Homes. As a recognised subject matter expert, you'll be comfortable shaping strategy, building capability and championing approaches that enable residents to live meaningful, fulfilling lives. In return, you'll join an organisation that genuinely lives its values and is committed to investing in quality, innovation and continuous improvement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
