Head of Retail Media

Have you built or scaled a Retail Media function within Grocery, FMCG, or Retail? Do you have experience creating supplier-funded commercial opportunities and driving new revenue streams? Looking for the opportunity to build a new business unit from the ground up?

MacGregor Black is partnering with a leading UK Wholesale & Retail business on the search for a Head of Retail Media. This is a permanent role based in West London, with five days per week on-site.

This is a rare opportunity to build, lead, and scale a brand-new Retail Media function. Reporting into the Head of Marketing, you'll take full ownership of the commercial strategy, operational delivery, and long-term growth of the Retail Media Centre, creating a new supplier-funded revenue stream across both Wholesale and Retail channels.

You'll have the autonomy to shape the function, build a specialist team, and establish a market-leading Retail Media proposition working with some of the UK's largest FMCG brands.

Key Responsibilities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
